Quilters' Workshop of Tampa Bay meets monthly on the second Tuesday evening of each month (unless otherwise scheduled due to a conflict with a holiday or meeting location, such rescheduling shall be announced in the newsletter or by email blast) at Tampa Woman’s Club (2901 Bayshore Blvd, Tampa FL 33629).  The social portion of the meeting begins at 5:30pm and the business meeting begins at 6:30pm.

Annual dues are $30 per member. Fees are collected in June of each year. The fees cover QWS events.

Throughout the year, QWS hosts a variety of other events including retreats, community service sewing events, and trips to local quilt shows.  Check out our Event List for all the details. Members of QWS do all types of quilting: traditional, modern, paper piecing, english paper piecing etc. There’s something for everyone.

At monthly meetings you are asked to sign the attendance sheet at the door, sign up for show and tell, and you can put your name on a list to be in a drawing for fun quilty door prizes each month. There are also fun monthly things to participate in. Some of them are listed below.

Block of the month Exchange

At monthly meetings, we offer a program called Block of the Month. Participating members each make one block or more (honoree's design) for the "honoree" of the month. Participating members earn credit for each block they complete, allowing them to earn their way to becoming a Block of the Month Honoree. Participation is voluntary, however if a member decided to participate, he/she is expected to abide by the guidelines established (all rules are listed on the Guild Handbook and By-Laws page). Only QWS members may participate.

50/50 Drawing

Each month members will be given the opportunity to participate in a cash drawing. Members buy tickets/chances and the total pot is split between the guild (as a small fundraiser each meeting) and one winning participant who's name is drawn during the meeting.
